Skeleton Warrior

Another Golden Axe character. The Skeleton warrior with an Arabic sword and Greek Shield. This was drawn quite quickly by comparison to the other characters because of its much smaller requiring fewer details and overpainting from scaling up several sizes.

I used as much skeletal reference as I could and looked at mythological imagery like Jason and the Argonauts. It was drawn in black and white with my favourite brushes. Colour was added and details and texture was added to help give a material look.

It took a total of 15 hours from start to finish.
