Portal 2 Fan Poster

I initially created a drawing of Chell on my iPad Using Procreate. This sketch took around 4 hours on a flight back home a few years ago.

I saw some incredible fan artwork of a Portal 2 poster and wanted to re-create something similar.

I decided to rework the artwork and fill in the background. I used some simple models I created in SketchUp of Wheatley and GlaDOS, exported the objects, including the test chamber, into Adobe Dimensions and rendered them with V-ray. In other parts, I overpainted, made Chell look slightly more realistic, and blended in the lines. I used Illustrator to create the Movie Poster typography, Portal orange rings, Fauna/Flora, and Test Chamber sign.

The whole illustration took around 50 hours.
